At that time, although 3D printing technology was still in its infancy, the global 3D printer market was rapidly rising. Of that, the U.S. market is about $1.5 billion, Europe about $1 billion, and China about $300 million.

Although China has a small market share, it is enthusiastic about the development of 3D printing industry. In terms of industry and scientific research, China 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance was established at the end of 2012, which is the first 3D printing industry alliance in the world. In terms of policy, the National Additive Manufacturing Development Promotion Plan (2014-2020) was issued in 2014. The annual sales revenue of 3D printer enterprises in Europe and the United States is generally about 1 billion yuan, while few domestic enterprises can exceed 50 million yuan, which reflects the situation of the 3D printer market in addition to the domestic market.

However, foreign markets, especially European and American markets, still lack in this aspect. In particular, basic manufactured products with low cost, such as doorknobs, drawer handles and other furniture accessories, are very expensive in foreign countries, and 3D printers at home can solve this problem.

From going to sea to returning to China, he insists on being a preacher of 3D printing industry
